As Executive Assistant and Development Specialist Laura serves two different but complementary roles. As Executive Assistant Laura is responsible for daily office operations and serves as liaison with the Board of Commissioners. She also supports the Executive Director with planning and scheduling and contributes to ongoing marketing and communications activities at CCDC. As Development Specialist, Laura provides project planning and organizational support to the development team including key roles in The Grove Plaza project; Capital Improvement Plan and Annual Report preparation and publication; real estate related Participation Program applications; Agenda Bill research and writing; media talking points preparation; and website development and content management.

Prior to joining CCDC, Laura was a project coordinator for a real estate consulting firm in Boulder, CO and a nonprofit real estate developer in Denver, CO. Laura has also worked for two online fine art galleries and for a large literary conference event in her hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho before entering the real estate industry. Laura has a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in real estate and sustainability from University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.A. in Art, Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College. Laura is a LEED Green Associate, an active member of Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group, and member of the US Green Building Council Idaho Chapter. Previously, she has served on the board of Voices for Children CASA and volunteered as a “Big Sister.”
