Scot M. Ludwig was appointed as a Boise City Council member in January of 2015 by Mayor David Bieter. He was reelected to the council in November of 2015. He has an extensive background in litigation; representing thousands of individuals in family law matters, business and real property litigation. His practice covers the entire State of Idaho.
Scot moved to Boise in 1979 after receiving a scholarship to play basketball for Boise State University. He graduated in 1982 and then attended the University Of Idaho School Of Law. He was awarded the Langroise Scholarship, graduating ahead of his class.
In 1994 Scot founded the law firm of Ludwig Shoufler Miller Johnson, LLP. Since then the law firm has grown substantially into the finest family law and litigation firm in Idaho. He has been involved in the Boise community for 35 years, where he has given back to the Citizens of Boise through his service. Scot is managing partner of Broad Street Properties, LLC and is also on the Board of Directors of the Bishop Kelly Foundation and the Executive Committee to the President.
