Upcoming 8th Street Impact
January 12, 20188th Street between Idaho and Bannock will be impacted by a sewer rehabilitation project taking place in the Union Block Alley and Freak Alley. The sewer project will start at 9:00 PM on January 14th and conclude on February 9th. There will be 2 full closures of 8th Street between Idaho and Bannock during the project, January 14th from 9:00 PM to January 15th at 9:00 AM and January 21st from 9:00 PM to January 22nd at 9:00 AM.
From January 14th to February 9th, the parking on 8th Street between Idaho and Bannock will be signed only for deliveries. The vehicle travel lane will be blocked to all traffic except deliveries and bicycles during work hours, tentatively 8am to 5pm. The sidewalks will remain open at all times.
