Jordyn leads CCDC’s public communication efforts.  From news and media to project-specific public engagement and outreach, Jordyn works to help people understand what CCDC is, why it exists, and how it works with partners and residents for ideas and input to create strong, healthy communities.

Jordyn joined the CCDC team with a six-year marketing and project management background scaling from state government and Idaho education to urban place making and event promotion.  She has training in the Design Thinking process and prioritizes user research and stakeholder needs when crafting communications and outreach strategies.

Jordyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Oregon.  As an Idaho native, she is proud to be living in her home state and making a meaningful impact in her community.  Jordyn is a current board member for the Friends of the MK Nature Center and the West Downtown Neighborhood Association.  In her free time, you can find Jordyn at any number of live music events downtown, whitewater rafting, running her dog in the foothills, biking around town, or digging in her garden.
