“I grew up in Idaho and have always enjoyed getting around by bike. When I moved to Boise, I was elated to find a network of bike paths and a community of folks who also loved traveling on two wheels. I’m so excited now to work for an agency that strives to provide mobility options for all kinds of transportation, whether that’s four wheels or two, and safe routes for more people to get on their bikes and ride.”

As the city’s redevelopment agency, CCDC strives to engage and inform Boiseans about all of its activities. Jordyn leads these efforts, creating outreach campaigns and deploying a range of communication tools to ensure that local businesses and citizens have a voice in agency projects. Her goal: help people understand what CCDC is, why it exists, and how it works to create strong, healthy communities.

Jordyn earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Oregon. She joined the CCDC team with a six-year background in marketing and project management, working in state government and the private sector on strategic communication planning, market research, and event promotion. She is trained in the Design Thinking process and places the highest priority on user research and stakeholder needs when crafting communications and outreach strategies.

Jordyn is the current board president for the Central Bench Neighborhood Association. In her free time, you can find her at any number of live music events downtown, whitewater rafting, running her dog in the Foothills, or digging in her garden.
