“Even after living here most of my life, Boise still surprises me. I love these moments, whether it’s walking down a new side street or exploring a familiar trail in the foothills, when the beauty and tranquility makes you stop and marvel at what a wonderful place this truly is. To be a part of creating those spaces and moments in some small way is just about the coolest thing anyone could ask for.”
Our local government and agencies all share a vision for a Boise with a high-quality of life for its residents, as do many private developers. As a project manager specializing in public-private partnerships, Kevin works across these sectors to align shared priorities and incentivize redevelopment projects that enhance Boise and meet the needs of our neighborhoods and communities. CCDC strives to make Boise a more enjoyable, safe and beautiful place, and Kevin helps make such projects happen.
Prior to joining CCDC, Kevin spent the last five years as a city planner in Boise and Meridian. Through that work, he especially enjoyed partnering with other public agencies and developers to advance affordable housing goals and build out a network of transportation options across the Treasure Valley. He’s also worked in the private sector as a project coordinator on federal engineering projects across the globe. Having grown up in Boise, Kevin stayed close to home, earning both his bachelor’s degree in political science and his master’s degree in public administration from Boise State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a professional certificate in GIS from Michigan State University.
When the weather is nice (or at least a little bit nice), you can find Kevin playing disc golf at Ann Morrison Park or riding his bike to playgrounds with his wife and 3-year-old daughter. In the summer, they enjoy exploring the back roads of Idaho in search of new camping spots and swimming holes.
