In late 2014, CCDC partnered with local developers and leaders of the local chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI-Idaho) to initiate a housing study for Downtown Boise. The Agency collaborated with a number of private sector developers, government agencies, and area planners to determine the scope and study objectives. Two independent firms were then hired by CCDC to execute the study and provide reports.
ECONorthwest was engaged to provide quantitative analysis of the Boise marketplace, while Leland Consulting Group was contracted for a qualitative section. The reports were completed in spring of 2015 and CCDC is sharing the findings with is many partners at a series of rollout sessions in April and May. The 2015 CCDC Downtown Boise Housing Report is published below and is also uploaded onto the Reports & Studies page.
Shellan Rodriguez was managing the project for CCDC.
