Holli Woodings

Holli Woodings currently serves as President of Boise City Council with a focus on smart urban growth, economic development, public safety, transportation, and equitable access to public facilities and service.

In January 2023, Holli Woodings was confirmed by City Council as a Commissioner of the Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC). Woodings also serves on several Boards of Directors including the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) and the Boise State University Foundation.

She is the District 3A Director for the Association of Idaho Cities, served as State Representative for District 19B in Idaho’s 72nd State Legislature, and was the Democratic Nominee for Secretary of State in 2014. She spent six years on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts Silver Sage Council.

Woodings is a proud “Double Bronco” earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Boise State University. She resides in East Boise with her husband and two children. When not working, she enjoys gardening, volunteering and paddle boarding Idaho’s rivers, as well as partaking in Boise’s arts and local food scene.
