INFRASTRUCTURE
West End Commercial Blocks: The West End Commercial Blocks project is a multi-year strategic investment developed in collaboration with public and private stakeholders. The project aims to build the public infrastructure and transportation facilities needed to support the evolving neighborhood’s continued growth. The first phase of this project includes a comprehensive Investment Study to identify where infrastructure improvements are most needed. Specifically, the study will evaluate opportunities to better support existing commercial businesses and enhance transit and mobility options throughout the area. Following the issued Request for Qualifications, CCDC contracted with HDR Inc. to complete the study. Over the next six months, the team will conduct a structured assessment culminating in a final report recommending public investment opportunities and helping CCDC prioritize future construction projects within the area. Stakeholder outreach has begun and will continue throughout the assessment. The final report will be presented to the Board upon completion. Project Lead: Megan Pape
