The CCDC Board of Commissioners will review three proposals for a housing development on Monday, January 11, during its regular monthly meeting.  The redevelopment agency received the proposals in response to the Request for Proposals/Qualifications it issued in October for the site at 1721 (formerly 1715) W. Idaho.

Three Boise-based development groups will present their proposed projects to the board and participate in a question and answer session. The lineup includes Conner Construction, LLC; McCarty Flats LLC; and SMR Development partnering with deChase Miksis.

The agency plans to award the Exclusive Right to Negotiate to the top ranked developer at its regular Board Meeting on February 8, according to Brady Shinn, Project Manager, Property Development at CCDC.

A working group comprised of board members, agency employees, and city representatives collaborated on the process to encourage proposals to prioritize housing options for diverse income levels. Respondents were also asked to provide design that reflects the character of the surrounding historical architecture and is suited to the West Downtown Neighborhood plan.
