Boise…what? This is what I said to my husband when he suggested we check it out in 2007. It was love at first site! Idaho’s rugged and never ending energy feeds my soul and I love exploring its vast natural playground. I’m excited to work at a company that embodies the essence of Idaho and where I can utilize my accounting experience to assist those directly involved with making Boise one of the best cities to live.
Responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions at CCDC, Marie enables the agency to serve the public with accuracy and timeliness.
Marie graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Before joining CCDC, Marie worked at The College of Idaho as a Senior Accountant in their Business Office where she processed payroll, managed assets and performed numerous accounting duties. She also spent several years as an accountant at US Geothermal, where she managed the accounting duties for 3 geothermal facilities in Idaho, Nevada and Oregon. Marie began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLC. She conducted financial statement audits and prepared tax returns for a variety of entities.
Though a native of sunny San Diego, Marie quickly learned she’s a mountain girl at heart. She loves everything about Idaho and takes full advantage of its four seasons by hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, skiing and relaxing in hot springs. When she’s not playing outside, she enjoys spending time with her family and helping burn the excess energy from her mini-Aussie, Bear-Boy.
