“When I first visited Boise prior to moving here in 2020, I quickly learned why so many people love this city. I was so impressed by the downtown, and at the time had no idea that it was largely a result of the transformational projects that CCDC delivers. Today, I am extremely grateful to be part of the team delivering these projects and making Boise a sustainable, healthy, and lively city for years to come.”

Amy oversees much of what people in Boise see from the ground level: the plazas, streets, sidewalks, bike facilities, and pathways throughout Boise's six urban renewal districts. It’s not enough for those things to be functional; they also have to be attractive. And it’s Amy’s job to make sure they are both.

Amy is passionate about planning projects and implementing ideas that enhance the urban environment. Before joining CCDC, she was a project manager in the Engineering and Construction division of TriMet, the public transportation agency in Portland, Oregon. There she played an important role in construction of a new light-rail line to the southeastern part of the metro area and also managed numerous projects that renovated existing stations and facilities.

Amy spent her childhood in British Columbia and moved to the U.S. to attend Elmira College in upstate New York, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. Amy is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and spent three years serving on the Construction Management Association of America Oregon Chapter Board of Directors, including one year as chapter president.
