Public Records Request
Check the Reports & Studies page of this website first. Many of our records are posted there. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please submit a public records request:
- using the online form or
- using the printed form and either fax, mail or hand deliver to the CCDC office.
The Idaho Public Records Act (Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1) allows three (3) working days to respond to this request from the date of the receipt of the request to either grant or deny a person’s request. If it is determined by CCDC that a longer time is needed to retrieve or locate the public records, CCDC will notify the requestor that it will invoke its right to take ten (10) working days to fill the request.
There can be costs associated with the gathering and reproducing of records. The requestor must pay the appropriate cost to CCDC before the records are distributed. If you have questions concerning the costs involved, please contact CCDC prior to submitting your request.
If a request is made for an item that is not a “Public Record,” the Idaho Public Records Act may not be applicable. CCDC staff will do whatever is necessary to ensure that all requests are screened to ensure only “Public Records” are accessed. See below for the description of a “Public Record.”
Note: Records released pursuant to this request are not warranted as to completeness or accuracy. The information provided represents the disclosable information pursuant to Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1, and Boise City Code 1-6-11. Additional records from other sources may present a more accurate representation of a given situation.
