CCDC Finalizes Land Exchange with the YMCA Facilitating the Development of a New First-in-Class Downtown Facility
October 1, 2024Today, Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC) and the YMCA closed on a long-planned land exchange, paving the way for the development of a new state-of-the art Downtown YMCA at 421 North 10th Street. This milestone and marks a significant step forward for our community and secures CCDC’s ownership of Block 69 North.
“With the property exchange now complete the path is clear for construction of a new downtown YMCA, an important project that many people have envisioned for nearly a decade,” said John Brunelle, executive director of Boise’s redevelopment agency. “CCDC and the YMCA will continue to work together to bring this positive change to the Westside District.”
