Ben Houpt Selected as CCDC Project Coordinator

Ben Houpt has been hired as the project coordinator of parking and facilities for The Capital City Development Corporation. His responsibilities include improving and maintaining agency-owned assets including parking structures, public streetscapes, The Grove Plaza and downtown Boise’s 8th Street area.
Houpt holds a BA in Applied Arts & Sciences with concentrations in chemistry, mathematics and military leadership from the Rochester Institute of Technology and he is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School.
In the military, Houpt worked in the property maintenance arena, specializing in logistics, repair, and secure transportation planning and implementation. He earned the rank of Captain, and served as Second-in-Command of his assigned Troop during his deployment to Iraq during Operation New Dawn.
