Public-Private Partnership Named a Top 10 Project

The Ash + River Townhomes in the River Myrtle-Old Boise District was recognized by the Urban Land Institute as one of the top 10 public private partnership projects completed in the last five years. The housing development features 34 deed restricted residential units with a mix of townhomes and flats, and a ground-level commercial/retail space home to local coffee shop, Push + Pour. The development is adjacent to the Pioneer Pathway, which connects the downtown core to the Boise River and Greenbelt, as well as the Historic Haymen House.
CCDC, owning several parcels in the River Street Neighborhood, issued a Request for Proposals in 2016 to engage in a public private partnership to bring workforce housing options to this area of downtown. The Ash + River project is the result of incredible collaboration between the public and private sectors to the benefit of local residents.
