Alexis Townsend
Commissioner
Alexis’ experience, education and passion for her work make her a vital member of CCDC’s Board of Commissioners. As a Principal Architect and Managing Partner at Lombard Conrad Architects, she has led her team on a multitude of projects for public agencies and non-profit organizations. She has proven expertise across multiple sectors including healthcare, public safety, and higher education.
Alexis received her master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho, and Human Resources Certification from Cornell University. She serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the University of Idaho College of Art and Architecture and the Advisory Board for Idaho Women in Architecture, Engineering and Construction.
She doesn’t slow down much outside the office. Her three kids—including a set of twins—are her biggest hobby (and skiing buddies). Alexis was confirmed by the Boise City Council as a CCDC Commissioner on March 1, 2022, for a standard five-year term ending in March 2027. She was appointed by Mayor Lauren McLean.
