Drew Alexander

Drew is the Associate Vice President for Campus Operations at Boise State University. Prior to joining the University, he worked as a city and community planner, in both the public and private sectors. His work has always emphasized the importance of engagement and collaboration, especially as it relates to the built environment.

He has been with Boise State for the past eight years, and his current role provides leadership for planning, design, construction, maintenance and sustainability efforts. The University's footprint encompasses nearly 200 acres, with more than six million square feet of space.

Beyond Boise State and CCDC, he also sits on the COMPASS Board of Directors. Previous volunteer work includes the COMPASS Regional Transportation Advisory Committee, ACHD Pedestrian Advisory Group, the past president of the Lusk District Neighborhood Association, and the North End Neighborhood Association Board. He has served on various citizen committees focusing on housing and development initiatives.

Drew holds an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning and Development and a Master's of Public Administration. He resides in Boise with his wife and two children.
