“I feel both lucky and proud to be from Boise and find myself happiest living, working and enjoying everything the City of Trees offers. I am excited to contribute to the continued success of CCDC’s work in creating a livable, welcoming place for all to enjoy.”
Projects only move forward successfully when all parties are engaged in the process, and Kassi serves as that conduit connecting stakeholders to the resources and expertise they need. In her position as a project manager, she has the unique opportunity to work across both capital projects and property development. Kassi is responsible for acting on, tracking and ironing out the myriad details that result in the streetscape, placemaking and mobility improvement projects that make Boise a better place to be. In her work with the CCDC Participation Program, Kassi works closely with developers throughout the redevelopment process, including applications, agreement negotiation and final reimbursements.
After graduating from the University of Idaho and working in Washington DC, Kassi missed her family and the Pacific Northwest lifestyle and returned to Boise. She pursued marketing and public relations before her career took a surprising and circuitous path towards the construction industry. She started coordinating projects at ESI Construction and, most recently, assisted in managing projects at The Pacific Companies. She is eager to take a primary role on projects that will make her hometown a more beautiful and enjoyable place to live.
When not in the office you can find Kassi running on the Greenbelt, hiking in the foothills or partaking in her favorite role of being “Tia” to her nephew and niece.
